Dr.Wilcox uses a mobile, extraordinarily versatile ultrasound system as an effective treatment with panoramic imaging for common muscular, articular and tendinous conditions in horses. Ultrasound imagery is able to deliver the precision you need for a fast, more accurate diagnosis. Images are available to client upon completion of services.
Digital Radiography
Elite Equine can offer digital radiography in a portable form. Dr. Wilcox uses radiography for lameness evaluations, pre purchase exams, emergencies, and routine health checks taking pride in precise images. Image series are available to clients.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave treatments can be used in combination with or as a substitute for anti-inflammatory drugs, surgical intervention and physical therapy.

Pro-Stride & Regenerative Therapy
Elite Equine is able to provide regenerative therapy to our patients through varies forms such as stem cell therapy, IRAP, and PRP - platelet rich plasma.

Micro-chipping
Elite Equine now offers micro-chipping for your equine athlete. As of December 1, 2017 competition horses need a microchip and the identification number registered with USEF to receive points. For the 2020 competition year USEF will require a registered microchip identification number before allowing participation in any competition.
